FYH 012 Food Portioning, Prioritizing Protein, and Fueling Your Goals

This episode is a few days later than planned because it took me a minute to get back on track after my holiday. But here we are coming in with a talk about proper food portioning and how we don’t have a good grasp on that. In this episode, you’ll hear me talk about the importance of learning how to set up your plate at home and navigate a menu out in the world so you don’t have to deprive yourself of your favorite foods completely. I share past habits and how my eating has changed over the years to better fuel my body for performance.

I take us on a few tangents about athlete fueling, specifically for Ironman athletes, but also useful for the average mover to keep in mind on their transformational journey to better health. I also talk about how adding foods to your diet rather than restricting can often be one of the biggest dial movers in making lasting habit change.
