I had a great discussion with podcast guest Lisa English, an NBHWC and Certified Integrative Health Practitioner. She works specifically with women over 40 as they navigate their health journeys.
Lisa shares how she healed herself from chronic stress, adrenal fatigue, and gut issues. We dive deep into prioritizing ourselves, setting boundaries, and slowing down. She talks about the importance of sleep and how often you have to take care of yourself before weight loss, and body transformation is possible.
We also discuss the need to cut out some of the noise and get back to the basics. It’s important to realize that things will always come up and that there will never be a perfect time to start. We talk about how working with a coach can speed up learning how to implement habits in real life when things are busy, chaotic, and stressful. If you can practice consistent discernment, self-care, and self-compassion during the holidays, you can successfully do it at any time.
