Coming back from vacation with a doozy for you! There are a lot of good nuggets in this episode. I talk about health as a lifestyle, using better health to get you to do the big life adventures. Health isn’t just about losing weight; it’s also about longevity. Once you break through the weight loss and learn to maintain your weight, you get the opportunity to up-level your performance and embody this healthful version of you.
In this episode, I talk about the many benefits of coaching and the process we might go through. Coaching helps us get to our desired outcomes faster. Life happens. Obstacles and Challenges will always come up. Coaching teaches us to handle them. It is there to assist us in developing the confidence to be able to navigate those learning opportunities.
We work together to get quick little wins to build confidence, something you can practice all on your own. The behavior change process that coaching guides you through teaches you how to take responsibility for your health and develop self-efficacy. The ultimate goal is to become the healthiest version of me to live the best life possible.
I also discuss how life is ongoing stress management. Learning mindfulness and calm helps us slow down so we can reenergize ourselves enough to overcome these challenges. I had a great time recording this episode.
